In 2006 I was commissioned to build a bar for the restaurant Cafe Gratitude in Berkeley, CA.
They had saved all the teak hardwood pallettes from shipping other items for the restaurant from Indonesia. I was tasked with turning the scrapwood into something beautiful and functional, one of my favorite things to do.
